Located in the heart of the Valley of the Sun, 30 miles north of Phoenix, Anthem is easily accessible from all directions. Bisected by Interstate 17, the community is accessed via the Anthem Way Exit 229 or the Daisy Mountain Drive Exit 227. Newcomers to the area should take Exit 229 and head east onto Anthem Way. This route features some of the town’s amenities, including the 63-acre Anthem Community Park and its four-acre catch-and-release lake, softball, baseball and soccer fields, Anthem Skate Park, and 10 miles of hiking and biking trails.
Intersecting Routes
- From points west, Anthem is accessible via Route 10, connecting with I-17 North (to Flagstaff). Routes 101 and 303 heading north and east will also connect with I-17 North.
- From the southeast, I-10 connects with I-17 North. Route 101 heading north and west will also connect with I-17 North.
- From the west, I-8 connects with I-17 (via Rte. 95 and I-10) heading north through Phoenix.
- From the north, I-17 directly connects to Anthem at Exit 229.
